ICE CLIMBING
Several
waterfall ice climbs lie tucked out of sight along the roads
of Northern Chaffee County and in the Leadville / Lake County
region. Begin your ice climbing adventure by stopping in
for the latest beta, then head off to “The Spout,” “The
Green Emerald,” Agnes Falls, or other ice climbs in
the area. [Some routes have more than one name; we can minimize
confusion.] Our climbs are rarely crowded, allowing ice climbers
of all levels to get their laps in and gain experience.
We have ice climbing guides, notes, gear, and local knowledge to make your ice climbing adventure an enjoyable experience to remember. We are alpinists at heart and are dedicated to helping you become one too!
