MOUNTAIN BIKE RENTALS AND RATES

Trailhead Cycle & Ski rents Trek mountain and road bikes because we want you to have the very best. Our bikes are assembled to the highest industry standards and receive our rigorous 14-point turnaround inspection and groom after every rental - both either by or under the supervision of the owner, a graduate of the Barnett Bicycle Institute and SRAM Technical University. PLEASE TELL US IMMEDIATELY IF YOU ARE UNSATISFIED IN ANY WAY.

4300s are equipped with platform pedals. Higher-end bikes are equipped either with SPD or campus pedals.

Reservations are encouraged and can be made by CLICKING HERE or by phoning 719.395.8001. A credit card number is required to guarantee your reservation. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy: cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance and no-shows are billed one day's rental fee.

Day = is from within two hours of opening, due back before closing.
Half Day =is up to four hours, due back before closing. Cycling equipment may be kept overnight for evening and early morning riding and returned at opening for an additional fee of $15.
Minimum charge for any rental is the half-day rate.
Rentals include souvenir water bottle and use of a helmet. We keep a credit card imprint for the new retail value of the bike as a deposit.
Damage repairs will be billed as follows: renter pays full retail plus applicable sales tax for all parts, plus any required shipping charges. Labor is billed at the current hourly shop rate. Clean up of excessively dirty or muddy bikes will be billed at the current hourly shop rate.
Multi-Day Rentals are billed one full day and the balance of days at the half-day rate.
A half-day charge will be applied for cycling equipment not returned by closing on the last rental day.
Groups of ten or more with one person coordinating all reservations and paperwork and making one payment receive a 10% discount.
RENTAL REBATE: Rent a bike from us, and buy any new bike from us within 30 days, and we'll give you $35 off the price of the new bike. Other items receive the price of one day's rental.
